If you are a person who is interested in education in the field of medical marketing, research or other educational topics and you are over 18 years old, you are right on our platform.


Why and how long do we process your data?
A) FREE use of the platform
On our Web platform, you can find specific professional content related to the conference we are organizing.  Customization of content based on cookies lasts as long as necessary, i.e. no more than 60 days. Other interesting functionalities are also available on the platform. Their current offer is published on the platform.

The processing of your data for the purpose of customizing the displayed content is therefore necessary for the provision of the service you have expressed interest in on our Web platform, i.e. for the conclusion and fulfillment of a contract for the provision of a specific service. Without their provision, the contract cannot be concluded and fulfilled, regardless of the fact that the concluded contract for the provision of the service is free of charge. The contract is concluded for a certain period of time and is terminated by deleting the cookies that enable its fulfillment (display of customized content).

B) NEWSLETTER
When you register with your e-mail address to subscribe to our newsletter, you give us your consent so that we can send you interesting and useful professional and educational content, various news of scientific research on medicine or improving the standard of living for a specific diagnosis, tips, advice, information to specialized centers, etc., which may also come from our partners.

The content of the newsletter can be adapted to the topic of a specific diagnosis, if the functionality of the Web platform allows it and if you express an interest. We can also use your e-mail address for communication that is related to the web platform and has an impact on the use of our functionalities (e.g. information on changes to general conditions, addition of new functionalities, etc.).

The legal basis for processing is therefore your consent. Processing time: We process your e-mail address for sending the newsletter until you unsubscribe from our newsletter by clicking on the link you will receive in every e-mail from us or by revoking your consent by sending it to our e-mail.

Your e-mail address is not matched in any way with your answers to the questionnaire designed to customize the displayed content according to the letter. A) above.

C) OTHER PURPOSES
Statistical processing
We can use some of the data that you provide us (especially anonymously in the content customization questionnaire on the Web Platform) in a strictly anonymized mode for statistical processing in order to determine the interest and preference of our users and subsequently improve the functionality of the Web Platform and its content accordingly.  

Cookies
In addition to adapting the content according to letter A) above, we also use cookies to ensure other technical functionalities of our Web platform. Since our Web platform will not function properly without the use of these cookies, their use is necessary and, according to the law, the user's consent is not required.   If we are interested in using another type of cookies, e.g. marketing, analytical, statistical or other cookies that are not necessary for the technical functioning of the Web Platform, we need your consent.
You have the option to grant us this cookie bar on the Web platform and revoke it at any time. We process these cookies from a few days to a few months, but at most for the duration of the granted consent, or until you delete the cookies yourself from your web browser.

Who do we share personal data with?
We may share your personal data, as well as anonymized data, with our partners who help us in our activities, that is, they process data as our intermediaries, on our behalf and exclusively according to our instructions, e.g. administrators of the server where we store data, developers and data analysts, an application that enables mass sending of e-mails, and other support activities. We always carefully select all these partners also based on how they ensure data protection.

We do not send any of the collected data to third countries, i.e. outside the European Economic Area (which includes the European Union, Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) we neither perform automated decision-making nor profiling.


How long do we process your personal data?
We always process personal data for the necessary time. This period varies depending on the purpose for which personal data is processed. We regularly review the duration of the processing purpose and if we find that the processing of personal data is no longer necessary and their processing is not even required by law, we will delete them even before the originally set period has expired.

What are your rights?
In relation to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:

•   withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time; withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;

•   to delete your personal data,
•   to update/correct your personal data,
•   on the portability of your personal data,
•   to limit the processing of your personal data,
•   as long as the conditions set forth in the GDPR are met for the exercise of your rights.
